As a “CareerRoad Ambassador”, you will be a member of CareerRoad, a not-for-profit public charity created by students, in which you will have the volunteer task of conducting insightful video interviews of successful people in all different career types. Your video(s) will guide students to learn about career options that can achieve their goals. You are eligible to receive community service hours for all of your time spent volunteering with CareerRoad. Conducting live video interviews is a great experience and we are here to support you.

At CareerRoad.org you will have a Profile page that will share some information about you and eature all of your interviews. Your Profile page is great for networking and as a resource for employers or potential clients/customers to evaluate you.  As a CareerRoad Student Ambassador you will have increased credibility when making an interview request and a high likelihood of a successful person accepting your request to interview them.

The people you will interview are what we call “Career Influencers”. Career Influencers are individuals that are successful in their career and enjoy sharing their knowledge to enhance the lives of students. There are hundreds of different career types and millions of successful people available to be interviewed. We encourage you to interview successful people in all different career types. Interviewing people with

similar career types is also acceptable, as most people have taken a different road to achieve their career goals. It’s important to note that success is subjective and can vary greatly from person to person.
